The Daemen College Physical Therapy Department uses the VibePlate primarily for research purposes, studying the normal adult and whole body vibration effects on skeletal muscle and nervous tissue flexibility. Future research may include patients with orthopedic problems, balance deficits or gait abnormalities. Notification of current research programs can be found posted on the Daemen College Campus.
